AMC 8 Math Competition Results:

Congratulations to Isabella Zhu for scoring a perfect score in the AMC8 math competition. Only 1% of students nationwide receive this score. Sarah Fu, Kaan Eguz and Michael Wang were the first place scorers in the 7th grade.  Katelyn Ma, Aaratrika Roy, Calvin Hodor, Jayce Walton, Dylan Cheng and Christopher Lang were 2nd place scorers for 7th grade.  In the 8th grade, Kevin Shan finished in 2nd place and Ann Shen finished in 3rd place.  We had over 24 students finish in the top 5% nationally!  If you want to learn your AMC8 score, please see Mrs. Walsh in room 210.

Mathleague Competition Results:

Cooper Middle School won 1st place in the Mathleague competition on December 19. Isabella Zhu received 1st place in the individual category for 8th grade. Bradley Cao received 2nd place for the 8th grade. Daniel Cao won 4th place and Kevin Shan won fifth place. Dylan Chang received 3rd place for the 7th grade and Michael Wang received 4th place. Isabella won the countdown championship. Congratulations to all in the very competitive math competition.
