The Cooper 7th-grade science students will attend the annual “Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience (MWEE)” field trip from April 29- May 2. This will be a fun and interactive day where students will work with scientists from Fairfax County Parks to learn about the freshwater biology of the watershed, as well as to practice using different pieces of scientific equipment for data collection.  Each teacher will take their students on a different day:

  • Ms. Gunas & Ms. Richey: Monday, April 29
  • Ms. Harris, Ms. Richey, and Ms. Chaplin: Tuesday, April 30
  • Ms. Sartori: Wednesday, May 1
  • Ms. Fleurantin & Ms. Butler: Thursday, May 2
